Character renovations are at the heart of what we do, but great projects come in all shapes and sizes.
From whole-home renovations to granny flats, garage conversions and smaller spaces that need some creative thinking, we work with our clients to make the most of what they have. That might mean solving a tricky layout, improving functionality, adding character or finding a smarter way to achieve something within budget.
Our building and in-house design services can take you from the early planning stages right through to construction and completion.
New Builds
While renovations are our specialty, we also take on select new-build projects where we feel One Palm is the right fit.
We’re drawn to homes with a strong sense of character and thoughtful design, particularly projects where our collaborative approach to building and design can add value from the early stages.

Design Service
Our in-house design service is flexible, giving you as much or as little design support as your project needs.
That might be help refining a floor plan or making a handful of key selections, through to developing the overall design direction, materials, finishes, fixtures and details for your entire project.
Having design and construction working together means ideas can be considered from both sides—balancing how something looks and feels with how it will actually be built and what it will cost.
Design can form part of a One Palm build or be tailored to suit the needs of your project.
1:1 Building + Design Consultations
Sometimes you just need someone to sit down with you and work through the ideas.
Our one-on-one consultations are available for up to two hours, from Byron Bay through to the Gold Coast. These sessions are completely tailored to you and your project, so you can ask us anything.
We can work through floor plan layouts, renovation ideas, building questions, design direction, materials, budgets or simply help you make sense of the options in front of you.
Whether you’re at the very beginning of a project or stuck on a particular decision, the aim is to help you leave with greater clarity and a clear direction forward.
